Norns Question of Destiny Ritual

This ritual will help guide you in making a choice regarding your destiny when you reach a crossroad in your life. Need: one red, black and white cord, a peorth/pertho rune, and the divination tool of your choice.

Cast a circle and call the quarters.

The Norns, three sisters of Destiny,
I call upon you in my time of need to be here with me.

When you feel their presence, continue:

Norns, weavers of destiny, of fate, being and necessity, I stand at a crossroad in my life, unsure of which path to take. I ask you to lend my your guidance in the matter of ….

Pick up the strings. Name each one for a choice you have (ie - move forward, take a different path, go back) Braid the cords concentrating on your question. When done, wrap the cord three times around the rune and place on top of your divination tool. Imagine the energy of the Norns radiating from the rune absorbing your questions and filtering it into your divination tool. When ready, use your divination tool to receive the guidance and the wisdom the Norns have bestowed upon you.

When done, thank the Norns, close the quarters and open the circle.
