Knot Work Spell

Take a piece of yarn, thread or string and wave it through burning incense to charge it or charge it mentally. Chose whether it will be a three or a nine knot spell. Say one phrase as you tie each knot.

Basic three knot spell:

I send out my will; I beseech the cosmos; I accept the return.

Tradition nine knot spell:

By knot of one, the spell's begun
By knot of two, I make it true
By knot of three, so mote it be
By knot of four, the open door
By knot of five, the spell's alive (This is the last chance for you to turn back)

Letting Go of Grief

Do this work and during a waning moon phase on a Saturday night.

IItems Needed :
sage and Cedar smudge
3 black candles
dragon's blood oil
silver bell
18 inch length of black ribbon or string
censer or caldron
Scissors

The Spell
smudge yourself and all the items to be using for this spell. Next draw triple sacred circle, laying down white light first, cobalt blue light second, and white light third. Then call in your dream guardians. Rub a fine film of the dragon's blood oil over the three candles, a and as you do, imagine yourself letting go of your grief. Then light the candles one at a time.

Next fold the silver belt over the altar, ring it three times, and say:

I call upon the powers of the Goddess this night.
Ring the bell three more times and say:
I call upon the powers of the God this night.
Ring the bell for three more times and say:
I call upon the ancient powers that be.

Place the bill back on the altar, and then pick up the ribbon, holding an end in each hand. Imagine that the right and represents you while the left and represents your grief. Name the ends as such by holding up the right and and saying your name three times, and then holding up the left and and naming your grief three times. Set the Ribbon back upon the altar. Take a few minutes to center yourself completely, aligning your being with the energies of peace, love, and harmony.

Pick up the Bell, ring it three times, and say:

below and above, Earth and Sea,
I awaken these energies in me.
With this tonight that I now release my grief and painful feelings about( name grief).
By the will of the ancient ones,
by the will of the one, as I will, it is done!

Now saturate the ribbon or strain in the dragon's blood oil and cut it in half. Like the ribbon in the candle flame, and then burn both pieces in your censer or caldron.

As the ribbon burns, chanting these words:

Sacred flame, take my Pain!
Sacred fire, consumed my grief!

Once the smoke has cleared, take a few deep breaths. See and sense yourself breathing and bright white light and breathing out your feelings of grief into a cobalt blue balloon. This balloon can be filled more and more without ever popping. The keep filling the balloon with any painful feelings, imagining it expanding more and more. Do this for as long as it takes to exhale all your grief into the balloon, and then release the balloon into the sky, watching it disappear into the night. Next pick up the Bell and ring it nine times. Snuff out the candles, and thank the divine powers that help you with your work. Pull up the triple circle of light in the order that you laid it down, and then release your dream guardians. Next smudge yourself for a few minutes, and then smudge your tools, altar, and bedroom. Complete the work by taking a warm salt water bath, using 1/2 cup of sea salt in your bathwater. As you soak, imagine any residual feelings of grief been absorbed by the water. Within the next three days you'll be able to release a good deal of your grief. This will lighten your load and energize you.

Love/Lust/Attraction Spells

(Be very careful with love spells. Part of your oath to the craft is to harm none, and that includes taking away a person's free will. Need: You will need two red candles. A sharp needle or pin. A bowl. A red lace bag (preferably made by yourself)A red sheet, rose petals (optional), a quiet place and some time.

First you should collect your energies by resting or taking a relaxing bath in rose petals or with crystals.

Next go to an uncluttered area where you will have time.

Place the sheet on the area where you will be performing this spell. Sprinkle rose petals over it if you wish. Place a bowl in front of you. Carve your name into the first candle and place it on the bowl. Light it. Then carve his name into the second candle and light its flame by placing it to the first candle. Allow them to burn side by side while you say the spell and until the waxes have melted together.

Now recite these words allowing yourself to feel the energy as you speak leaving your body and being released into the air:

I call upon Aphrodite, Ishar, Isis
Magical Goddesses of Love,
Send to me this wish,
A gift from you above
I wish that from the next moment that we meet
(insert intended lover's name)'s heart will be at my feet.
In his mind I will remain,
As in mine it is the same.

Now that the spell has been said. You may collect the petals if used and place them with the melting wax. If not collect the wax when it has cooled and place it in the red bag. Keep it! When you want something to come to you, you should not discard any of the things used for the spell.

Aphrodite Love Spell

It's best to do this spell on Tuesday.

You'll need:
1 red taper candle and holder
1 pink taper candle and holder
Your ring
Pestle and Mortar
Salt and Water
Red or pink flowers
Amethyst or/and Rose quartz
Paper and Pen
Red thread
Ylang ylang oil
Ashtray or "cauldron"

Place your ring in between the gemstones and cast circle. Say:

"Aphrodite shining bright,
Bless his/her heart with lust and light,
For me he/she can't fight, His/her feelings so bright,
He/she shall think of me day and night,
It shall be between me and him/her, So mote it be!"

Take 2 pinchs of salt and sprinkle it in the Mortar along with the flowers and 2 drops of ylang ylang oil. Mix well and flick over your ring. Say:

"His/her feelings shall be in my arms, Whilst I wear this lustful charm!"

Write the name of your love-to-be and wrap in red thread and dangle over the candles. Leave to smoulder in the ashtray or "cauldron" and meditate about your love-to-be. Thank the elements and the goddess of love, Aphrodite and close the circle. Don't forget to snuff the candles out, not blow them out!

Bring a Mate Into Your Life

A spell to attract the opposite sex

Done on a new moon

Items Needed: Red candle, Rose oil, Rose Petals, Matches, Ink Pen, Paper, tooth pick and a quite place..

Gather all of your tools first.

Dot rose oil on paper and let it dry.

Take your salt bath and just relax.

Cast your circle. Next lick the candle and put your energy on the candle. Carve "love" in the candle and on the opposite side "mate"

Llight the candle and take the rose oil paper and write down what your looking for in a mate...hair color, eye color, how tall, weight, do you want them to be funny, silly, non smoker,social drinker, every thing.

Once done fold the paper in 4ths. Give 1⁄4 to the element of fire (burn it); 1⁄4 to Earth (bury it); 1⁄4 to Air (tie it to a tree); last 1⁄4 to a moving river or stream.

Thank the elements and let the candle burn for 7 nights and place rose petals around cande and say 3 times "Come to me. Come to me. Come to me." in a clock wise manner.

Brining Lust Into the Bedroom

Need: An apple, 4 toothpicks, whole cloves, pencil

Using the pencil, draw the universal symbol for "female" on the apple. Using the same circle as your base, draw the symbol representing "male." It should look like this:


Push the cloves into the pencil outline, starting with the cross first, chanting:

Primordial Maiden, with this clove lustful urges live and grow.

Outline the arrow with clove, chanting:

Robust Good of hoof and horn by arrow of clove, new lust is born.

Work deosil, outlining the circle, chanting:

Circle out and circle in -- male and female both within.
This herb both enters and stays out, lustful urges flow round about
Touching those within this space with power that they can't escape.
Clove and apple, set lust free. As I will, so mote it be!

Push toothpicks into the bottom center of the apple to form a stand. Place the charm on the headboard of your bed or on a bedroom windowsill.

Bringing Your Loved One Closer To You

Need: black candle, pink candle, red candle and white candle and your favorite colored candle (eg, if your favorite color is 'purple' you need a purple candle.) Item or pic of loved one. (if can't get their name and description is ok.)

Face north and put the black candle farthest away from you, at the north, the red east and pink west and finally the white south (that should be closest to you.) Now you have a diamond shape. Place the item/pic of your loved one in the center

. Light the candles in the order of: black, white, pink, red. Saying: "Fire (black), Air (white), Earth (pink) Water" then focus on the item/pic and say "spirit."

Then light your favorite colored candle and hold it.(BE CAREFUL!!!) Focus on the item/pic and get a mental picture of the person, then say the words:

"I call upon the goddess' Aphrodite, Venus and Lakshmi to work thy will, Bring the warmth of love, never a chill
I call upon you aid me in love
I call upon the powers above,

Blow out the candles in the order you light them - starting with black!

Significance of items: Black candle=negativity, white candle=purity that washes out the negativity. pink and red candles sign love. The pic/item/description about the one you love. Your favorite candle is about you it connects you with the person. Goddess' Aphrodite and Venus are the goddess' of love, and Lakshmi is the goddess of prosperity.

General Love Spell

You will need : red candle, rose incense, heather(optional), mirror, rose leaves for circle (optional), pink altar cloth if you want it

Set up an altar facing south. Put the incense close to you and then put the heather behind it and then the candle behind that. Put the mirror so all these things reflect in it.

Cast the circle using rose leaves.

Light the candle and say :

"Awake Aphrodite and come to my aid and cause"

Light the incense and hold it to the north now say :

"Aphrodite and spirits in the north, give people the knowledge to love me"

Hold the incense to the east and say :

" Aphrodite and spirits to the east,
give my love and friendships new beginnings"

hold the incense to the south and say:

"Aphrodite and spirits to the south, give me and the world love"

hold the incense to the west say :

"Aphrodite and spirits to the west, let my love continue to the spirit world"

place the incense where it came from. Put your hands out in a gesture of love. now say :

"Goddess in your aspect of the maiden, come to all and open their hearts to me. Hathor and Aphrodite, let love come to me with harm to none. So mote it be,"

Get Over a Loved One

This spell is best done on a Tuesday or when the moon is waxing.

You will need:
2 white taper candles and holders
1 red taper candle and holder
An ashtray or "cauldron"
A piece of red paper cut into a heart shape
A Black Pen
A piece of Rose Quartz

Place the taper candles out like this: (W) (R) (W) Cast your circle and light the left white candle first then the right white candle and then the red candle. Write the persons name on the paper and burn over the red candle while saying:

"I burn thy name so it shall be,
Cast out of my memory, (Person's Name),
you name is as cold as ice,
To get over you would be nice."

Heal a Broken Heart

This is a two-part spell I designed for people who have recently ended a relationship but feel that they just can't let go.


You will need:
one egg
one pink candle
rose petals
lemon balm
honey
rose oil (optional)

Take the egg in one hand. Sit quietly and think about the relationship you have just ended, and your feelings about splitting up. Allow all your negative feelings, grief, frustration and loneliness to come to the surface. Cry, howl and bawl if you need to - the end of a relationship is like a death and you should allow yourself to grieve and not feel ashamed about it.

While thinking about the relationship, take the egg and roll it gently over your face and forehead. Imagine that the egg is like a sponge which can soak up your grief, your need, and all the negative emotions which are holding you back and dampening your spirits. Project all your unhappiness over the relationship into the egg and let it soak up all your negative feelings.

When you feel that the egg has sucked up all your unhappiness and negative feelings over this broken relationship, take it to a plot of earth - preferably not your own garden - and bury it. If it must be on your property, bury it as far as possible from your house. Know that the negative feelings and depression you projected onto the egg are being absorbed and neutralized by the earth.

Return to your house, preferably to your own bedroom or some place where you spend a lot of time. Make yourself some lemon balm tea with some of the rose petals, and sweeten it to taste with honey. Sprinkle the rest of the rose petals around the candle and yourself, if you have enough. Light the candle. Imagine the warmth of the candle and the scent of the rose petals combining and filling the room with warmth, sweet rose scent and soft pink light. Let the pink light and scent fill you with loving warmth and comfortable feelings.

If you have some, anoint your chest just over the heart with a little rose oil.

Sip the lemon balm tea. Say quietly and with conviction:
'Gentle balm, soothe my heart
Bring to me your healing art'.

Imagine yourself surrounded by love and peace, sheltered from discomfort and loneliness. Know that you deserve love and that you are now free of your previous relationship and open to a new one. Gaze into the candle flame and imagine yourself happy and healed, living a joyful and fulfilling life without the person you have just broken up with.

Love Path

I would prefer using a white candle for this spell but then again that's just me. I feel that the white candle could represent the purity of the path. You can dress the candle if you like or put scents within the candle holder to infuse the candle to conceal its purpose. example: Jasmine, lavender, lotus, etc.

If you do not want to do any of this:

Take candle which is already placed within the candle holder, visualize love finding its way to you. After this:

Take the candle holder and if you have a balcony which is preferably best or place the candle at the closest entrance of your home. And say:

With this candle let its light shine the path of love to me.

You could let it burn out if you like. Or set the candle to burn for the week.

Potion directions: what you'll need: 1 red rose (with petals off,) 1 incense (all the way burned), boiling water, crushed sage, crushed mint leaves (for taste), powdered nutmeg (for taste)

procedures:
step(sp)1:put incense ashes on a rose petal
sp 2:sprinkle the sage into the boiling water and then put in the rose petal/ashes combo
SP 3:add either nutmeg or mint to the water for the taste

Mourning a Love

Need:

1 pink candle
1 white candle
1 rose quartz
1 piece of parchment paper
1 pink pen
1 red ribbon
dragon's blood incense
rose oil
vanilla oil
red lipstick

This is to be done on a Friday morning on the weekend of a full moon.

Before lighting the candles,carve the rune for love on both of them. Then light the candles and dragon's blood incense.

draw on the piece of parchment paper an ideal guy you would like to be with and list all the qualities you want in him.

fold the paper into thirds. Put your lipstick on and kiss the paper after it's folded. put three drops of rose oil on

your finger and smear it on the rose quartz. Tie the folded paper with the red ribbon and take it outside with the rose quartz. Bury it under a flower bush and say:

To Soothe a Broken Heart

Using three red candle, place in the shape of a triangle on the floor of a quiet room, place a picture of your lost love in the center. Clear your mind and focus only on the picture and repeat the following three times:

Rest in Peace,(name of lost love), you are deceased in my heart and no longer a part of my misery.

After doing so, burn the picture in the candles, moving between the three.

Scatter the ashes in yours and your lost lovers favorite place or if not a place of special meaning to you.

Whilst scattering the ashes repeat the chant once again.
